Parihar rajputs are better than chauhan rajputs because they are the rajputs who originated after Gupta period and ruled a major part of India fro 800 A.D to 1200 A.D. The other rajputs came out of the the previous one ruling some smaller places over a passage of time.

∙ 10y agoParmars are bigger n higher rajput clan than Rathore ,the reason is that the parmar have older n bigger history than rathore ,parmars have given birth to many brave legends ,when parmar have ruled the entire earth while rathore were concentrated in rajasthan the most .........so on this behalf Parmar would be higher clan......but secondly as rathore are descendants of gadhwal/gahadwals (shree Raam's descendants) so as rathore are connected to gahadwals ,in this case parmara and rathore both shares equall status.!!
