1979 malibu.
No, 1978- 81 are the same or 1982-1987 are the same. looking at pictures of the 2 fender groups the hood, door seam even the front grill angles are different.
No. It's the same as 1979 Chevy Malibu.
Front fenders are the same on, 1982-87 El-Camino. 1982-83 Malibu.
Same as a 78 chevelle.
The 1984 El Camino can use parts from several GM cars of the day. Most any parts from a fifth generation El Camino can be used. Fifth generation El Caminos are from 1978 to end of production. For engine parts and many interior/dash parts, a Chevrolet Monte Carlo can be used. Some parts can also be taken from an Oldsmobile Cutlass. The cars must be from the same time frame to match.
no, 1973-1977 was the same, 1978-1981 was the same, 1982-1986(87) was the same, you can always jury rig, but it wont ever look right
My parts look up says, no. Sorry. '97-'00 same.
77-85 Impala, 77-90 Caprice, 78-83 Malibu, 78-88 Monte Carlo/El Camino
Actually, yes. ALL super sport Chevelles were Malibu's. From 1966-1969 the SS396 was actually it's own model and had it's own VIN code, but they were still built on the Malibu trim package platform. In '64-'65 and '70-'72 the super sport Chevelles shared the same VIN code as the Malibu, for example, a 1970 Malibu coupe has a VIN code of 13637. A 1970 Chevelle SS coupe has the same VIN code, 13637. The same is true for convertibles and El camino's. So while the '69 SS396 was never actually called a Malibu SS396, technically it IS a Malibu in SS396 trim.
Any GM A-body AC box from that same body style. That includes the Chevelle, Skylark, and Cutlass.
The elky hoods are the same. The monte won't fit without changing everything from the quarter panels forward. Not sure about the malibu.
