Yes. They aren't fancy, but they get the job done very well for the money. I've known a number of professional drummers that use them as "beater" kits or even as their only kit. Entry-level drums have come a really long way in the past 20-30 years and the Export is one of the best products in its class. Tough bargain to beat.
18 pieces? Even with two snares (one off one on) and double bass drums, you would still need 14 toms to make an 18 piece drum kit. Remember, pieces does not refer to the cymbals, percussion pieces, and hardware. Only the drums. I don't think you can even buy 14 Pearl Export toms of different sizes.
I would recommend pearl drums for the quality but if you are looking for a cheaper price i would recommend buying a pdp or mapex drumset.
I'm pretty sure he uses a pearl drum set. Those are the really expensive brands:)
To improve the sound quality of your drum set using an amp, connect the drum set to the amp using the appropriate cables, adjust the amp settings to enhance the drum sound, and experiment with different EQ settings to find the best sound for your drum set.
For a time in the early 1970s, Pearl was distributed in the U.S. by Norlin, the parent company of Gibson guitars at the time. but now a days a good set of skins and a decent drum set your all set.
Pearl drum sets are a high quality and recommended by many drummers, but it's mostly up to the drummer to decide which sound he/ she want there drum set to sound like. but with the sound the skins also play a role. But if you want a top-end drum set you should probably go with pearl or ask the employee at the music store (where u are thinking of purchasing the drum set) what he/ she prefers.
To improve the sound quality of your drum set, you can tune the drums effectively by adjusting the tension of the drumheads evenly and carefully using a drum key. This will help create a balanced and clear sound across all drums, enhancing the overall tone and resonance of your drum set.
Don't get an electronic kit. Get yourself a DW or a Pearl reference.
Yamaha, Pearl or Ludwig sell good drum sets but a good drum set can cost over $1000.
Can't beat DW for quality
Depends on the brand and quality my first set was $200 it was a P.O.S but it worked to get me started. I've spent a lot more money on improving my drum set with new drum heads, cymbals and hardware.
Drum sets online can cost around $270.00, but a drum set with a better quality can reach around $500.00. The price is based on quality and their sound/vibrations.
