It seems that it is a "Traffic Infraction". I found a list of bail amounts and code 27360.5 is listed under the infraction section, not the misdemeanor section. For the second and subsequent offenses it is $250. However, by the time all of the court, bail and other fees are tacked on, the first offense costs $380! Ouch!
