i dont know correctly but photons dont travel in wave form they are just a sort of particles while waves are electromagnatic radiation.

Why light posses dual nature?

light travel as a wave but it carries photon which is consider to be a particle.so photon done function as a particle and wave motion made effect as wave.

What form of waves is light carried by?

Light is not carried by waves, it IS as wave an "electromagnetic" wave. Interestingly, it is also a particle, a "photon".

A sentence for photon?

A photon is a sub atomic particle is a single enery packet of light As it has no mass it can travel at the speed of light (since it is light) and are created when an electron makes a quantum leap inside an atom.

How does the speed of a photon compare with the speed of an electromagnetic wave?

Light can be considered as a wave, or as a particle. As a particle, the particles are called photons. As a wave, light is an electromagnetic wave. In either case, the speed of light (in a vacuum) is approximately 300,000 km/sec.

What is the wave particle of light?

The wave-particle duality of light refers to its ability to exhibit both wave-like and particle-like behaviors. Light can behave as a wave, with characteristics such as interference and diffraction, as well as a particle, called a photon, with discrete energy levels and momentum. This duality is a fundamental aspect of quantum mechanics.

What is a photon-?

A particle of light. Or, in general, of an electromagnetic wave.

A photon is a quantum of light energy true of false?

True, a photon is a quantum of energy, E=hf.

Is light a particle or a wave?

Light exhibits properties of both particles and waves, known as wave-particle duality. It can behave as a particle called a photon and as a wave with characteristics like frequency and wavelength.

How are photons often drawn?

Photons are often represented in diagrams as wavy lines or arrows to show their wave-particle duality. The direction of the wave or arrow indicates the direction of travel for the photon.

How can a photon have frequency?

A photon behaves both as a wave and a particle. The frequency of a photon is related to its energy by the equation E = hf, where E is energy, h is Planck's constant, and f is frequency. So, the frequency of a photon is a characteristic of its wave-like nature.

How do you define light?

Either as: A particle, the photon, A packet of energy, the quantum of electromagnetism(still known as the photon), and A wave of a specific frequency, a wave of radiation that has a certain energy

What are the properties of a photon?

A photon is a fundamental particle of light that has no mass, travels at the speed of light, and carries energy and momentum. It behaves both as a particle and a wave, and can be absorbed or emitted by atoms.
