My dear according to me i think real qwalli invent in the era of hazrat khawaja mueen-u-deen and hadith's era was stop in hazrat muhammad (S.A.W). because hadith are the profit muhammad (S.A.W) talks. now we can only listen them and apply them in our daily life we can never change them.
NOW QUESTION IS... Is qawali haram in Islam?
ANS IS.
if we use music in a bad and unmannerly way that will be haram and if we listen not music only listen the kalam (talks) in it then it is not bad or wrong. no doubt there is also music in it.we should never applied music on our soul or mind coz when it applicable on our mind(only music) then it will work like wine and wine is haram in islam....

Is coloring or drawing pictures haram please help?
I think coloring a picture is ok (not sure though), but drawing pictures like faces and animals (basically anything that's living) is haram, but i don't think that drawing things like buildings ,clouds, trees etc is haram :) Hope that helped
