Most any larger city has a locally owned restaurant that specializes in prime rib and/or steak. There are chains, most of which are regional, but the tried-and-true local favorites are usually single location mom-and-pops restaurants with a standing tradition of excellent prime rib. Where I live, it's called "Pat's Steakhouse."
