As people living in amazon basin produce crops through a method known as 'slash and burn method' where the trees are cut and burnt to make small plots to cultivate crops. Because of the excessive destruction of trees carbon-dioxide increase in the atmosphere. the rubber plant that grows absorbs whatever is available in the atmosphere. it started to absorb a lot of carbon-dioxide . all the plants then did not give proper latex ( liquid rubber ).
If it's made of true rubber and not synthetic rubber, then it is an agriculture product.
EDPM is a product that has characteristics of rubber as it is a synthetic rubber product. It is especially important for seals and gaskets. It is no longer under patent protection and so is made by almost all chemical companies such as DuPont and Dow.

there is a big difference in raw rubber and rubber reclaim. the properties of raw rubber and rubber reclaim is having far much differences just like elasticity ,ash content ,sulphur & carbon content . rubber reclaim product can be used in a little quantity as like filler in the rubber products. rubber reclaim is a recycled product bu raw rubber is a natural product.
