No. The sabbath is the Jewish day of rest.
The Jewish sabbath is on Saturday. Jesus Christ came back to life on a Sunday. This is why the Christian sabbath is on Sunday.
No, not really. It's mainly a marketing gimmick.
The sabbath was instituted at creation and it was not for the jews. Adam and eve were not jews. It was created to commemorate GOD's work of creation and thus it is the only sign or seal that GOD is the creator because the day reminds us of His work. He, Christ honoured it even after His death by being buried before sunset and rising after the sabbath signifying that He never came to change the law confirming what He said. The disciples and apostles still kept the sabbath even after the ascension of Christ. If Christ had nailed the sabbath surely the disciples would have known. Hebrews 4 verse 3-6 says the sabbath rest still reamins.
I am very sure that in was unlawful. The Pharisees were very outspoken about not working on the Sabbath. They complained about the disciple eating wheat out of a field. Stoning was too much work to be done on the Sabbath.
The name of the bread prepared for the Sabbath by Jews is called Challah. It has no unique "symbol" although the spelling of the name "Challah" in Hebrew letters is (חלה). (Note that the Sabbath-bread, or Challah, is actually baked before the Sabbath, since the Sabbath is a day of rest.)

The Jewish Sabbath was Saturday, however the Sabbath began Friday with sundown and ended Saturday with sundown. Sunday became the Christian day of worship because Sunday is the day Christ rose from the dead. Catholics have retained the Jewish custom of the Sabbath beginning the day before sundown. Thus for Catholics "Sunday" (the Sabbath) technically begins on Saturday evening with sundown, and ends Sunday with sundown.
Jason Christ's birth name is Jason Alan Christ.
The Assemblies of God, like most Protestant churches, practice the Sabbath on the first day of the week, which is Sunday. This came into practice because Christ the Messiah rose on the first day of the week. Under Jewish tradition, the Sabbath was celebrated on the 7th day of the week, which is Saturday.
