War Pigs
Earth
Before they were called Black Sabbath, the band was known as Earth. Ozzy Osbourne was indeed the original singer of the band when they adopted the name Black Sabbath in 1969. The group's lineup, featuring Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward alongside Ozzy, became iconic in the heavy metal genre.

Originally they were called Earth, and very briefly The Polka Tulk Blues Band or just Polka Tulk. And then after that they were called black sabbath.

Bassist Geezer Butler had titled one of his songs 'Black Sabbath' after the title of a 1963 vampire film starring Boris Karloff.
it was originally called "war pigs" but the name had to change to paranoid. The reason for this is because for it to be released in the USA - which was fighting an unpopular war in vietnam at the time, the name "war pigs" would have caused offence to an already divided america over the war, so the name paranoid was adopted. Nevertheless it became a top ten hit on both sides of the atlantic in 1970
