The reason for this is because for it to be released in the USA - which was fighting an unpopular war in Vietnam at the time, the name "war pigs" would have caused offence to an already divided america over the war, so the name paranoid was adopted. Nevertheless it became a top ten hit on both sides of the atlantic in 1970
