(sign) Glucose is a carbohydrate (or sugar). Gram positive or negative refers to a bacterial cell wall and whether or not they take up certain stains. Glucose will be neither since glucose is a molecule and not a bacterial cell.

The gram staining is only applied in identifying bacterias. Fungi are not bacteria.

Neither. Gram negative and gram positive are terms used to describe results of a gram stain which is used when classifying bacteria. Influenza is a virus not a bacteria.
