No. Anything with calories is fattening. Salt has no calories. That doesn't make salt healthy. Too much can increase your blood pressure, which can lead to hypertension and increase your risk of a heart attack or stroke. Answer: Salt doesn't convert to fat. You gain weight from salty foods because salt absorbs water. It holds water in the body. You just think it's fat ,when you look at the scales; your weight's gone up. Think of the way salt melts ice on roads and sidewalks. It works, not by generating heat, but by absorbing moisture.

Water isn't fattening since it doesn't have any calories, fat, or carbs. But, it is a good way to lose weight if you drink lots of water and it's good for keeping healthy skin. If anything water is very good for you.

If it contains fattening ingredients, then yes. Otherwise no.

Caesar salad, for one, is fattening.

Anything with nuts, meat, cheese, etc. is at least somewhat fattening

And the dressing is extremely fattening, look for a low fat one or vinaigrette.

A salt is what is formed when a negative ion pairs up with a positive ion to neutralize their respective charges.

A fat is a fairly complex molecule that has a glyceride, and a few chain of faty acids.

They are very different molecules .
