as far as i am concerned.., sanskrit is a language of Hindu gods but it is not from a particular region. in olden ages pandits or highly literates all over India spoke sanskrit
The question Is Sanskrit Aryan or Dravidian are for people interested in seeking the rational roots of language. Since languages are means of communication of people it must be possible to trace the origins of any language to a particular region of the earth and trace its movements through history. This has led to speculations like the Aryan-Dravidian divide cleverly formulated by our India's colonaial masters who had an axe to grind in keeping the country divided(as if they would not have wanted to divide themselves to put cell division to shame).
The word Arya is supposed to mean one who would accept the way of life recommended in the Vedas, taking The Vedas as the final extra-temporal authority insofar as ethical-moral concerns are taken.
Since the origins of Sanskrit can be traced to the Vedic Scripturl writing as the earliest records, and since the Vedic Utteranes are analysed, taking the words to have been formed perfectly ab initio, the concept of Sanskrit having been the Language of Gods is the generally accepted belief. Other Indian Languages in particular and several Indo-European langauges too are seen as having had a debt to Sanskrit.
Whereas English and European Indologists has successfully indoctrinated several generations of Indian Intelligentsia to to rationalize and accept theAryan Invasion Theory which posits "Aryans" as a race that had come to "civilize" the "natives". Rmemeber, the Indus Valley People were a very "civilided" people in the Ancient World!
I hold that Sankrit is the original language of India and permeated every part of this country. Tamil and other so called Dravidian Languages have had a symbiotic relationship with Sanskrit and The Vedas! The Veda-described wars/invasions being given the shape of Aryan-Dravidian wars is part of a great grand plan to divide this country.
