As with all foods that your dog is not accustomed to eating, introduce it in moderation. If you see no ill effects in your particular dog, then it is fine to repeat, and even maybe to increase. I would not recommend a diet of shellfish, though. Dogs should eat dog food, in my opinion, as the base of their diet. I use people foods as a supplement or a treat. Shellfish is high protein and low fat, and it has nutritional benefits for the dogs' muscle and bone health. However, remember that shellfish is also high in cholesterol, and so you should continue to exercise moderation for optimal heart health.
