Its according what you mean by shouting. If your talking about ordering them around and demanding they do something or using a loud threating voice then it is not okay. I happen to know that it will cause a child to be nervous and grow up to be a up tight nervous adult. Having a parent that did this all the time at home. Most of the time the parent had a parent who did this too. Stress causes this and it caused me to do this to my children when I became a parent. When this happens now,I sit down and try to destress before speaking with my children
