NO... The SIM card in a mobile phone - identifies the mobile number connected to the device. It's used to either create a monthly bill - or deduct prepaid credit, when the phone is used to make a call or send a text. An SD card - is simply a memory card - for storing data such as a phone book, pictures ring-tones or tunes. You cannot replace the SIM card with a SD card.
