but a second opinion is always necessary. Scientifically, I wouldn't know regarding the validity of my answer, but all it really takes is COMMON SENSE. My cousin in California had told me the same things 4 years ago but had not explained why or how.
The reason why sleeping with ur socks is bad is ur socks accumulates a lot of bacteria from inside ur shoe, and also if you walk a lot with your shoes off but socks on at home. If you sleep at night with your covers over your head, your creating a closed environment for the germs/bacteria from your feet to swarm around the inside of the blanket. so .. not just bad for the eyes, but maybe even for the lungs.
IF you really enjoy sleeping with your socks on at night, give them a nice wash and slip on a clean pair of socks :)
