As far as sodium pyrophosphate, I'm not sure...but sodium bicarbonate (a.k.a. Baking Soda) isn't toxic as far as anyone knows. Baking soda is an additive in many cat litter substrates and litterbox deodorizing agents. The only problem I could imagine is the same as the one I experience while using it in the "cat box"---getting the dust from the powder in your mouth and having to drink some water. --- Answer ok for kitty litter, but not correct for giving sodium bicarb as medication. Repeating what in first "discussion" comment. As medication (for acid stomach), small amounts can be helpful. Large amounts can affect salt/potassium, acid/alkaline balance. So, right dose can be helpful, too much is potentially very harmful if giving it orally.
If question was about using as medication, please check with a vet or vet site about amounts ok for your specific cat, and the condition.
It contains sodium which is bad if you are on a salt-restricted diet. Otherwise it is a great antacid- cheap and effective,
Pyrophosphate found in foods are relatively safe for consumption. However, phosphate additives like this can cause safety concerns due to the presence of phosphorous found in meats and dairy.
From what i've read, smoked hams aren't ideal for cats due to its high sodium (salt) levels and sulfate presence. As an occasional treat if would be alright but make sure they have water available. In general, prosciutto is pretty much fast food for cats - when they have heaps its bad for them.
No, sodium is not bad for you, but like most things, too much sodium is indeed bad for you.
Good guys, they are cats
bad Its is an opinion but personally I think good.
bad
No It is not
None of these should "react" much with human skin, but the ammonia at least is a very bad idea; it's caustic enough to cause chemical burns.
Its high in sodium. High amounts of sodium can elevate blood pressure. Potassium bicarbonate could be used in place of baken soda. It is often sold by home brewing stores to reduce the acidity of wines. Too much potassium could be dangerous to people with kidney problems.
really any caffeine is bad for cats, but you (if you have to) can give them a tiny bit.
Cats does have furry bad behaviours.
