Well geothermal energy is heat from the earth so for example some places use steam to power there place and some use the lava from valcanoes so they power there place. I think that solar power is part of geothermal power becase geothermal is heat from earth converted into electricity to power houses and solar power is from earth.
because somethings need solar energy to power up and the sun the solar part.
Light Energy and Solar Energy are all a part produced by the sun.
they are alike becausee they are part of an atom
energy
The word geothermal is an adjective. It means pertaining to heat energy extracted from the earth's interior.
No. It comes from the Earth's internal heat sources. The "geo" part of geothermal means Earth.
Wind energy being used in wind mill would not produce CO2 Nuclear power plants would not produce CO2 Hydropower would not produce CO2 Why not? Solar energy in case of solar cells would not produce CO2
The Thermosphere primarily blocks solar energy.
The amount of energy the sun sends towards our planet is 35,000 times more than what we currently produce and consume. Some part of this energy - better known as solar radiation - is reflected back into space but a lot of it is absorbed by the atmosphere and other elements surrounding the inner atmosphere. This energy can be easily harnessed for practical purposes such as heating homes, lighting bulbs and running automobiles and even airplanes. The uses can be as varied as the uses of energy itself. And the great thing is that we are never going to run out of this massive energy resource even for thousands and thousands of years.
The photocell is the part of a solar panel that absorbs light and converts it into electrical energy.
To be part of a strategy for energy independance a source of power should be:AvailableAccessibleRecoverableConverable to a form using existing infrastructure (transmission lines etc.)Have available recoveery technology on the market that is dependable.Preferably already in use on a large scale to allow economic studies to be doneHave a positive benifit to cost ratioNot produce pollutantsSolar energy meets all of these criteria as does geothermal, wind, tidal energy and hydroelectric energy.
