North Korea is really secretive, while South Korea is very prosperous and holds many relations with other nations. North Korea is very much conscious about their military, that they forgot about children going to schools, and also, it is so hard for a South Korean to enter North Korea, while South Korea open-handedly welcomes anyone from North Korea into their country. These are just some reasons that South Korea is very much better than South Korea. There are a lot more.

North Korea grew faster and had a higher living standard and live expectancy than The South until the 1980s. However, the Norths economy collapse in the 1990s because of natural disasters, mismanagement, and the collapse of the Socialist Market. So now, South Koreas economic development has outgrown the Norths.

Truly a silly question but I will do my best to answer the question based upon a couple of facts and ideas.

As for history, South Korea loses out. Chinese history predates Korea's.

Significance in historical contributions: once again China beats out Korea.

Human rights record: South Korea and only after it became a truly democratic state.

Military: pound for pound, South Korea. They have had more success in their active participation in Vietnam, and humanitarian assistance in Iraq and their recent rescue attempt from Somali pirates.

GDP: China

Household Income: South Korea

Women: South Korea, pound per pound (more access to cosmetics and techniques)

Products: South Korea (Samsung, LG, Hyundai, Kia, Posco)

Entertainment: Tied both have had their shares of talented individuals

Results: South Korea comes out slightly ahead but not by much.

North Korea is full of communism or communists and South Korea is full of freedom, democracy and human rights. North Korea does not know how to make technologies like South Korea do. South Korea is better than North Korea because South Korea is smarter, stronger, more powerful than North Korea and South Korea also knows how to make advanced robotic technologies and including advanced anti-missile defense systems. All North Korea is good at is only buying weapons and making weapons. South Korea is good at buying weapons, making weapons, making air conditioners, cars, planes, trains, robots, game systems, computers, televisions and a lot of other advanced technologies.

Read the following in an Asian accent: It was a race difference not a poritical difference. The North Koreans, because they're further north, are parer (whiter) than the South Koreans (who are more yerrow). As a result, the North enslaved the South. That's why they don't get along.

Why did Chinese join south Korea in the fight against un forces?

As a matter of fact China did not join South Korea it joined North Korea. The truth to all this was that than Kim asked China for their blessing to invade South Korea. As the allied forces pushed North Koreans back China grew scared that the americans may also invade China so in turn it sent one millionChineseforces to prevent the americans from reaching the river which divides North Korea and China.North Korea was in the brink of loosing the war if itwasn'tfor China's intervention North Korea would of cease to exist.

What did people do after the Korean War?

Korean warMany south Koreans moved to America. Such as my family and living here ever since the war ended. Those who stayed at south Korea grew to understand that the north and south part of Korea should have never been together in the first place. Also, the north Koreans started to have many weapons than south and selling more "military" things,Many say they're preparing for another war with the south.

Are South Koreans taller than North Koreans?

Yes, in fact, South Korean are the tallest Asian race at 175.5 cm average (5'9 1/18).Ironically, North Koreans are the shortest in Asia at 165.6 cm average (5'5.2)For comparison, average American height is at 176.3 cm. New generation of South Koreans are now just as tall as the western countries. So before you generalize Asians as short, think again! South Koreans are tall.

Are Asians from Asia?

All south Asian ('brown people') and southeast Asian people originate from china. However, South Asia was once part of Africa but it broke away and joined Asia. The people of that broken land mixed with the Chinese and through years and years the 'brown people' were created. South east Asia in fact actually does have a bit of African ancestry but majority is Chinese. The only Asians that have barely any Han Chinese in them would be the Koreans and Japanese. Koreans came from Siberians. The Koreans went over to japan and the Japanese were 'created'. ALL ASIANS ARE RELATED TO THE CHINESE IN SOME WAY. SOUTHEAST ASIA AND CHINA ARE CLOSEST. NEXT IS CHINA AND SOUTH ASIA. THIS THEREFORE MEANS 'BROWN PEOPLE' ARE MORE RELATED TO THE CHINESE THAN KOREANS AND THE JAPANESE. Koreans and Japanese of now may have some Chinese in their ancestry but Koreans and Japanese people would say they are the only 'Pure' Asians.

Why is South Korea so much better then every other country on the earth?

It isn't that's only the opinon of some people and not the opinion of the entire population of the world. Answer Yes, clearly that is a rather biased question. Considering the problems with air pollution in large cities and acid rain, it might be suggested that South Korea is, in fact, not "so much better than every other country on the earth". It did, however, grow remarkably fast in the second half of the twentieth century thanks to the Cold War, which motivated America to build it up and help keep it free from Communism, since it is located just south of three major Communist powers (Russia, China and North Korea). Someone who wrote this answer above is bias too like it was United States good well Anti-communist campaign to help South Korea. Past 60 years South Koreans or Koreans struggled many obstacle to develope Korean economy. Past 60 years western tech was not given to Koreans. Koreans earned top 20 technology power house by providing education to Koreans through Korean determination and challenges.
