Is taking 2 10mg of adderall xr the same as taking 1 20mg xr?
yes 2x10=20 so 1x20=20 its the same
The short answer = 10mg of Adderall is slightly more potent then 10mg Ritalin. Ritalin and Adderall are two different chemical derivatives of the same class (amphetamines), and therefore work slightly different. Ritalin blocks reuptake of dopamine in the synaptic cleft, acting as an 'increase' in dopamine leading to the desired effect. Adderall has this exact same effect, while also stimulating the release of dopamine: hence, a more potent effect.
No, regardless of which brand or generic form of adderall you buy the dose is more or less exactly what it says on the package, e.g. no matter which brand you buy if it says on the package 20mg the dosage will be more or less exactly 20mg. No brand is more or less strong than any other with the same dosage.

Too much at once is extremely dangerous to the body and can trigger anxiety attacks, damage your heart, and affect your moods. It also depends on the dose. For example, 10mg xr and 5mg adderall ingested at the same time can be the approximation…
Does taking 2 5-500mg vicodin the same as taking 1 10-500mg vicodin My Dr says it's the same but it doesn't feel the same?
You really shouldn't be on a prescription for Adderall and Xanax at the same time. It's possible that Adderall could potentiate the effects of the xanax. That means that if you mix them, you normal dose of Xanax could knock you out. It also depends on if you are taking Adderall because you have been diagnosed with ADD. The effects of Adderall are different for people who do not have ADD.
