commented, converse, confabulate, parley, speaking,
The phrases "talk to someone" and "speak to someone" are often used interchangeably and mean the same thing. They both indicate communication with another person, typically through conversation or dialogue.
they talk about the same thing
Some synonyms for "speak" include "talk," "converse," "communicate," and "discuss."
You generally speak to them to same way as you would other people.
IMHO... Talk should be used in informal situations, such as conversations rather than giving a speech or writing a paper. If you are writing or planning to speak publicly, speak often lends a different air and is more formal of a word usage. Neither is incorrect gramatically in either situation, since they mean the same thing, but these are acceptable ways to convey your thoughts which sound a bit more learned or professional. Add your own spark to your papers, and use as many different ways to say the same thing. If you vary words while giving a speech or writing, those vocabulary skills speak to the level of education you have (as you see, "speak to" is a common phrase) :-) .
im doing the same thing.. hard choice.
speak, spoke, said, saying, chatter, blab.
The only time that something was spoken into existence was in the first chapter of Genesis. As God created everything he would speak and it was instantly created. There is no verse in the Bible that says we can do the same thing.
The same reason why Americans speak american...... LOL SILLY QUESTION
The same way you'd talk to a human...unless of course fairies have their own language.
To speak or talk = parler eg je parle anglais - I speak English
