No, the motor is the iron headed 4.3 v-6. Same motor minus a few differences from 1994-03. The 4.3 is basically a 350 5.7 liter motor with the last two cylinder's cut off to create a V-6. All Chevy 350 parts are interchangeable with the 4.3, minus the crank shaft and cam shaft, intake.
