It is more fuel efficient than it used to be but it still is more of a high performance than econimcal engine. If it is in a newer truck AND you keep your foot out of it, you can expect to get aroung 18 to 20 mpg. If you just can't help yourself and drop the hammer on it, your mpg will go down in exact proportion to the amount of fun you produce. Same holds true in a Challenger.
sfi - sequential fuel injection efi - electronic fuel injection
sequential fuel injection
Sequential fuel injection is a type of ported fuel injection, yes.
SFI (Sequential Fuel Injection) also called as SEFI( Sequential Electronic Fuel Injection) . Unlike the Multi Point fuel injection (MPFI) system, SEFI has separate fuel injectors for each cylinder which inject fuel more precisely increasing the fuel efficiency.
No , SFI means Sequential Fuel Injection and OHV means that it is an Over Head Valve ( pushrod style engine )
sequential fuel injection , over head valve
you have a gas hoseline or other type leak. fix it!
Sequential Fuel Injection
Are you sure you have a carb? '07 Vipers have the 8.4L SFI engines, right? SFI being Sequential Fuel Injection..?
they dont. they spray a vapor in to the cylinder (SFI) and the fuel is igniter by the spark plug
A GM 5.7 liter V8 engine is ( 350 cubic inches ) SFI ( means Sequential Fuel Injection ) OHV ( means Over Head Valve , that's a pushrod style engine )
the fuel injectors on a 1998 subran are located under the upper intake manifold this system is call the central sfi system
