yes the coat has that similar to the poodle which is better for people with Allergies because the coat doesn't pick up the dander that some people are allergic to.
Generally no. The Airedale Terrier is very active indoors. It should live in a house with a yard which is at least average-sized.
The breed of dogs that are good for someone who is allergic are American Hairless Terrier, Airedale Terrier ,Basenji, Bedlington Terrier, Cairn Terrier , Cavachon ,Chacy Ranior, and several hundreds more.
honestly a dog is family name it from the heart
It depends on the size of the apartment but generally terrier breeds are fantastic "classic sized" apartment breeds. They generally are very well behaved and they do not require a lot of space. Border terrier, cairn terrier and boston terrier are some highly recommended breeds.
There are many non-shedding dogs. Here are some: Shih Tzu Yorkshire Terrier Maltese West Highland White Terrier Dachshund (moderate shedders) Bichon Frise Miniature Poodle Italian Greyhound Border Terrier Cairn Terrier Havanese Miniature Schnauzer Norfolk Terrier Silky Terrier Welsh Terrier Boston Terrier Scottish Terrier Chinese Crested Australian Terrier Wirehaired Fox Terrier Greyhound Bedlington Terrier Irish Water Spaniel Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Basenji Kerry Blue Terrier Airedale Terrier Standard Poodle
The hypoallergenic dog breed is the terrier
First Time Dog Owner - A Jack Russell Terrier is not the breed for you. His high energy and intelligence will overwhelm you. This breed needs firm handling, despite its size, as it has the classic terrier temperament.
The LaPerm breed will do well in an apartment, but they do enjoy hunting outdoors.
a good dog for a small back yard is a Yorkie terrier
In the USA they're probably in the terrier class. Airedales are a hunting/working dog, bred as water spaniels to hunt otters. Many of our domestic dogs come from hunting water spaniels; I have Gordon setters, the biggest of all the setters, bred (so it's said) by the Scottish Earl of Gordon. I have to keep the boy's water bowl in the bathtub because he'll attack it and spread water all over the place. Maybe he hopes to find an otter or a possibly a duck. If you have an Airedale you are lucky indeed; they're a marvellous breed! One of the good websites for your breed is a Canadian site, here: http://www.airedaleterrier.ca/about-airedales/index.html
No, but shedding is minimal for this breed.
no dog is allergen free they just make less dander the hair isn't the problem its the dander but Airedales are good dogs for people who are allergice to dogs.
terriers have a lot of variances between breeds. some are short some are tall, some are energetic some are lazy, but by getting a dog with mixed breeding you get all of the good traits of the dog, and eliminate most of the bad. If you want to have a dog with papers, a rat terrier is a good choice. Its a newer breed, so inbreeding hasn't had an opportunity to take hold, and the dog is bred for its stoutness, and livability. They have very few health problems, are not overly energetic, and have good personalities. Their temperament is fairly neutral, so they are a good choice for being around kids, and their size makes them ideal for apartment/city life. they are loyal, easy to train, and not excessive yappers. They need a fair amount of exercise, but are content to just relax if you are. Oh, and by the way, they are cute as hell!!
