No, A Fuzzy lop has lopped down ears and angora type wool. A Mini Rex has upright ears and a very short uniform plush coat. For pictures of these breeds go to the American Rabbit Breeders Assn. website.
It really depends on the environment for your rabbit. If it is outside a mini Rex can withstand cold or hot to extremes. I'd go with the mini Rex or try a Thrianta, they are so cute! They're red.
yes it is proven that all rabbits can eat the same food as their cousins Not all species of rabbit eat the same foods exactly, but all pet rabbits are the same species (the European Rabbit), so they all eat the same food: water, hay, pellets, leafy greens. See the related question below for more details about what to feed a rabbit: it applies to mini lops and all pet bunnies!

The scientific name for the mini rex rabbit is Oryctolagus cuniculus.

No. No bunny can eat granola, including mini lops. All domestic bunnies are the same, when it comes to diet: big or small they all have the same organs inside. See the related question below for more info about rabbit diet and nutrition.
Mini Lops didn't get their name from "mini" ears at all. At the time that the breed was being created, the Holland Lop was not yet a breed in the US. Bob Herschbach, the Mini Lops' created, called them Mini Lops because they were a "mini" version of the French Lop (which they still are). Ultimately, both the Mini Lop and Holland Lop were accepted as breeds at the same time by the American Rabbit Breeders Association in 1980. YES! dont let names confuse you. holland lops are much smaller than mini lops! mini lops got their name from their "mini" ears!
