The Czech government is still struggling with democracy after many years of communism. It is a beautiful country with a wonderful if not complex history and the people are reserved but extremely nice people who would do anything for you. Under communism, people have to be careful what they say and what they do. The Czech population is an ageing population and so people are still influenced by these years of control and diplomacy. They are easily insulted as they are a proud people, but they will go out of their way to accommodate you. Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic is a beautiful place, very popular with tourists and with a long and interesting history.
