Yes Dell Optiplex gx280 is a good system (not) . It has very good memory (true) and sound graphics which is great for the video gamer (but not good specs for the gamer :)). Also it has utlra fast processing speed (nope) from Intel systems, so watching flash is easy (not really).
Dude, it sucks now. Get the 760 or get the LENOVO Y-580 if u want a fast computer that games well (great)
The first answer is obsolete
Lenovo y-580 is best bet. optiplex gx280 sucks now
Reviews for this model (written by pcmag and cnet) were published in August 2004.
So i would go with that.
The reviews for a Dell Optiplex GX620 are all good. It is designed for people who want to become enterprising on the internet. They are reliable, flexable and dependable.
If you get one with a fast proccessor and a good video card they can perfrom well with games.
Optiplex gx260 speakers are produced by Dell, therefore the best place to purchase one is the Dell website, which has the full range of Dell products. Dell do not usually sell through third parties, so it may be difficult to find one elsewhere, although eBay may be a good place to look.
Dell's Optiplex GX270 is capable of running many current and popular games like World of Warcraft and League of Legends. However, performance is not particularly good unless you upgrade the system's graphics card. Most default graphics cards are not impressive for gamers.
The Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 processor is found in several good PCS. One of the best is the Dell Optiplex 960 which retails from PC World, Amazon or directly from Dell for around å£200.
Dell X300 has the latest Pentium Processor. It has a 400 Mhz processor system. In other words it is not a good laptop. It is good when you do it occasionally. But it will be very slow.
The average cost of dell tonner is about 10$-100%, try it on local stores. Make sure the tonner is good for your printing system. Do not buy cheap dell tonners, they are not good.
There are two slots that can hold up to 1GB each in the Dell Optiplex GX260. It takes DDR PC2700 or DDR PC3200. I found out at crucial.com. It is the direct outlet for Micron Technology. My PC used to have 128mb. I added 1GB. The time it takes from my PC to bootup dropped from 3-4 minutes to 30 seconds. The web surfing speed increased, too. Crucial can scan your PC and make recommendations. The price and quality can't be beat. It's a good place to buy memory. http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=OptiPlex%20GX260%20Series
YES Dell printers are extremely good! I myself adore the Dell Laser Printer 1100!
Two of the leading manufacturers of WYSE computers are Dell and Sony. The WYSE system is based on the new thin profile machines and Dell has already won awards for theirs.
Yes, Dell is a quality product.
Even if you own a printer from Dell, the refill kits should work on your unit. This was the key ideal when releasing the refill syringe system to the market for consumers to make use of and save money while do it.
