There is a variant that does have VTOL. It will mainly be used for carrier operations
VTOL - an acronym for Vertical Take-Off and Landing
That would depend on the specification. For example, in a war you're not going to want a Boeing 787, you want a fighter plane (e.g the lockheed martin f35 raptor II) but the opposite would be the case in an airline where you need to carry passengers efficiently which is where the Boeing 787 excels but the F35 raptor fails.
there is no f35 in any of the gta but if you have it on PC you can mod it sot there is an f35
No one can say because new aircraft are built in secrecy but the latest aircraft developed and accepted into the USAF is the f35 lightning
The Company who designed and are building the F-35 JSF is Lockheed Martin, although Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems did help in the process. However, Lockheed Martin is getting the applause for it. Lockheed Martin have admitted that BAE Systems did have to correct them on the VTOL engines, for they could not get them to work efficiently enough.
VTOL craft can takeoff and land vertically. hence Vertical Takeoff Or Landing
Hover VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) aircraft can hover as well as helicopters, but helicopters can do it more efficiently and, therefore, can do it for longer periods.
Vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), usually the domain of helicopters, can also be achieved by the Harrier Jump Jet, and the Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft.
They will admit to only-in excess of 1,500 mph. It's unrealistic to expect any air force to be totally open about it's aircraft's exact capabilities.
On one of the missions you hijack a f69 VTOL from stag and then it is unlocked in your garage
There's different versions, but it's a Harrier Jump Jet. Also generically known as a VTOL aircraft..
Probably any helicopter or VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VTOL
