When you become a Christian the Holy Spirit enters you immediately. So, no only Christians have the Holy Spirit in them. Now, after if you pray and ask GOD to fill you with the baptism of fire you can be fill with the anointing a.k.a The Holy Ghost but that is only gifted to those who ask and believe.

The holy spirit is for anyone who believes in him. they could worship him in a church in their house, before they eat, after they eat. if you have ever looked on a quarter it says 'In God we trust'.
