I bought the Sarnac inert three years ago. Out the box it didn't work, a bad control panel. The following year the glow rod went. The second year the heater blower went. The third year I can't use it past level one, within 3 hours on level two the fire box over filled with pellets and shut down. I called the manufacture several times and tired several things the tech rep suggested, new fire box, new control panel, induction blower and induction channels with no improvement. The store where I purchased it sent out their tech and spent over 4 hours checking out the insert completely and couldn't find anything wrong. And that was that, I'm left with a $3,000 metal box in my fireplace. I wouldn't buy or except a free product from Hudson River Stove. They just blew off and didn't back their at all. My answer is a big NO

Most fois gras is produced in France but, Hudson Valley Fois Gras is actually a brand name and fois gras made in the US. The praise for Hudson Valley Fois Gras is that they use traditional French methods for fattening the goose liver. Where the Hudson Valley product differs from the French product is that the product is not made from goose liver but rather a hybrid of Pekin & Muscovy duck called Moulard duck. There has been much controversy over fois gras due to the force feeding of the animal in order to grow the liver. In some states fois gras has been banned.
