I have never driven the JOHN DEERe 4310, so I can't tell you how it handles. I would suggest looking at some tractor review websites, to read reviews from John Deere owners. Tractorbynet.com has reviews for that specific model. Visit them at: http://www.tractorbynet.com/cgi-bin/reviews/reviews.pl/view/John%20Deere%20Reviews
You can buy a John Deere tractor in Memphis, Tennessee at the local tractor dealer. Since Memphis, Tennessee is located in the south, it will be very easy to locate a John Deere.
Farmall H that is easy the only thing that will happen if you try pulling with a John Deere is it will break down
10w-30 Engine oil. That was easy!
the john deere 820 is a nice tractor, but could use some work. i would recomend to the easy farmer, nothing to huge because it does have some kinks depending on what it is needed for
John Deere did not invent tractors. He invented plows. John Deere as a company experimented with inventing their own tractor but ended up buying the Waterloo Boy Tractor Company instead. Few tractor experiments suceeded so instead they went the easy way out and bought an existing company.
Frankly, it is pretty easy - but hard to believe you can't just replace the pull cord! You have to spend about $45 (w/ shipping) instead on: John Deere Recoil Starter Assembly - LG497680
I have a 2001 John Deere 4200 diesel and I have been using a Fram PH 6811 for 8 years with no problems. I found them at Wal Mart, they are hard to find! John Deere part # M806419. Napa Filter #1334 typical Honda filter. easy to find
Yes it would seem that 4400's are good for small farm usage. Here is a webpage I found tht has the specs of the tractor. http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/003/6/8/3687-john-deere-4400.html
The Pursuit bag is very easy to operate, but is also a bit heaver to carry around.
If you mean the same model of tractor in all of the different states, they should all remain about the same price range. John sets a suggested price for salespersons to sell at, providing a slight commission over the production price. For the cheapest tractors though, try a state without sales tax. Otherwise, the price can be bargained down slightly by knowing the dealer and call pull a few strings. Different states, almost same price.
Yes, a deadbolt lock is a reliable latch for a door that is both secure and easy to operate.
It wasn't so easy but after about 5 hours it was done. You have to drop the mower unit and remove it from the tractor to start. I hope we get another 10-12 years out of the new ones.
