check to see if head lights turn on,are you saying car cranks but won't fire or turn key and nothing happens? big difference in explanations.
yes if it is two wheel drive and you disconnect the drive shaft. otherwise its big bucks for NEW tranny.The only other way is RV World can put a tranny disconnect on the sportage but again not cheap, but cheaper than new tranny.
the thermostat is located between the fan and the very front of the engine.follow the big hose that comes off the radiator, you will find the rad housing,unscrew that and you will find the thermostat.
ifr your asking where it is, then it is the big retangular looking box driver side un der hood. six 10 mm bolts hold top on. then lift off top and there is the filter.
The fuel pump is in the tank and you can get to it by the back seat,passenger side their is a access panel with 4screws.the fuel injectors are underneath that big plastic on the left side of the throttle cable.
