I would have to say something is corrupt with the files on the DVD or you do not have a DVD compatible drive on your computer.
The LG 20x External USB Double-Layer DVD RW/CD-RW Drive is compatible.
No you have to buy an external dvd drive
if the LG drive is capable of DL media nay disk will work.
If it's on a CD/DVD then you will have to buy or find a USB DVD external drive to hook to the Air. If it's a first generation Air the you should make sure the drive is compatible as some of the drives weren't working at the time they came out. Apple actually sells a fairly cheap external USB DVD drive that is geared towards the newer computers that no longer come with an internal CD/DVD drive.
Any DVD drive is backwards compatible as a CD drive.
If your Macbook Pro has a DVD/CD drive just insert the game CD in the drive and follow the directions. If you do not have a DVD/CD drive you will need to copy the game to a flash drive or use an external DVD/CD drive to install it. Of course the game will have to be Mac compatible or it will not run on a Mac.
easy to upgrade
You cannot play a DVD in a CD-ROM drive, you need a DVD compatible drive in order to play a DVD.
You can use a flash drive as installation media (google how to make bootable flash drive) or you can use external CD/DVD drive.
You could use: * a floppy * a USB Flash drive * a null modem cable * a LapLink cable * an external hard drive * a DVD
No, they are no compatible.
