The coat color does not tell you about their natural intelligence. A yellow Labrador will need sun screen on their nose while outside as opposed to a Black or Chocolate Lab. Just like a white Boxer will too.
Actually, Yellow Labradors have a black pigmentation so they have black noses, unless they are a dudley, meaning one parent was a yellow and the other was a chocolate.
Very! I have a yellow lab, and she is almost always hyper. We can't even say "walk" or "ball" around her because she will tweek out. Sometimes she tends to be overly friendly around new people and children and will try to jump on them to get them to pet her. But for the most part our dog is very loyal and has never bit anyone or even growled at a new person coming into our home.
Yes. There are different ways to judge a dog's intelligence, but when talking about how quickly a dog can learn a command, and how reliably it will obey, the Labrador Retriever is in the top 10 along with Border Collies, Poodles and German Shepherds.
The smartest breed of dog is the border collie. The next three, in descending order, are the poodle, the German Shepherd, and the Golden Retriever. Labradors are not usually considered to be in the top 10 breeds regarding intelligence.
The coat color does not depict a dog's natural intelligence or overall personality, the coat color just depends on the dog's genetics and nothing more.
yes. all are extremely intelligent.
its not just yellow labs. its all labs
yeah, they love to play fight aswell.
not really, yellow labs are actually from England so not California
Breeders usually call Yellow Labrador retriever yellow labs. These dogs are very fast learners. The main difference between yellow Labrador retrievers and Golden retrievers are that yellow labs have shorter coats.
Do you mean do they have to have babies that are yellow labs? If you do, then it depends on if the parents are different breeds from each other. Then the pups will be a mix. how do you think they made goldendoodles and labradoodles?
yes my yellow lab has a mom that's a black lab and a dads that's yellow and they had black, yellow and Brown labs so you will get a mix NO. Two chocolate labs will ALWAYS have chocolate labs. Chocolates are double recessive which means they only carry the recessive chocolate Gene.
