Yes! I have 2 of them myself, and they are very sweet and careful with children! If you have babies or young infants or toddlers, i suggest a long haired dachshund! Those are the most loving and caring kinds! Just make sure that the children are responsible enough, and are careful, because dachshunds are prone to back injuries.
well im 13 and wanted one but in my opinion get a chihuahua they are more friendly i would say
you can get a dachshund at pretty much any pet store, but they are originally from Germany
A hamster is a very good mini version of a pet and doesn't cost too much! You can get them at Pet Co or any other pet store!
My pet dachshund is a hyper dog who never seems to sleep.
The Dachshund is a hunting breed, used to being outdoors, but it can make a good indoor pet as well. It isn't recommended to have a Dachshund in a home with small children because of their temperament.
dachshund 675
Yes they are very freindly dogs.
One could purchase gifts for a Dachshund at any local pet store such as "Petco" or "PetSmart". Other purchases would be dependent on what the Dachshund likes.
matty b does have dog named roxy and the dog is a dachshund
Yes. A Doberman, Miniature Pinscher, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, even the Teacup Miniature Pinscher and more, can be pets that are very good guard dogs. I recommend the Doberman, German Shepherd, or the Rottweiler.
One can buy a mini-Dachshund from a pet store when this type of special dog is available. Mini-Dachshunds may also be purchased directly from a breeder. Newspapers often list advertisements in the pet section which are posted by individuals who are selling Mini-Dachshunds.
I could not find an entry for hores in my dictionary. If you mean horses, there are miniature horses that make good indoor pets. They are easy to house break. A number have been trained to guide blind people. Guide dogs for blind people live for about 12 years. Guide miniature horses live for about 35 years. A full size horse would be far too large to make a good indoor pet.
