The Eddie Bauer is one trim level above the XLT Explorer
My Explorer won't turn over; the lights come on and attempted to jump the vehicle. Where is the fuel bottom if engine does not turn over?
Yes , there was a 1997 Ford Explorer with the Eddie Bauer trim - did you have a question ?

How do I deactivate the garage door operen on a 2002 ford explorer eddie bauer
No , starting with the 1995 Ford Explorer the automatic transmissions were electronically controlled
Look on the computer box , under dash or in motor compartment.
It is OBD2. OBD3 is not out yet, and the OBD2 was REQUIRED in 1996. Ford actually started using OBD2 in 1994 even though not yet required. You can always look for the 16 pin DLC on the drivers side of the vehicle somewere around the underside of the dashboard, usually about knee hight. Obd vehicles the connector could be anywere and have any shape, and amount of pins but are usually located in fender, under the hood. I hope this answers you question.
