It depends on what you think, the PSP Go is soley digital which means download only. So if you have a lot of games for your old PSP don't bother. On the other han now, if you have only a few or none for the matterr then go right on ahead and get it. I hear that it isn't too much different from the PSP 3000, except for the Bluetooth 2.0 installment.
There's no such thing as a PSP game that's model specific, they'll work on any PSP. However the PSP GO has no UMD drive, so of course, those won't work. Any PSP game available on the PSN though will work on both PSP 2000 and PSP GO.

No. A PSP-Go is quite sturdy and will not break unless forced. The material is strong, good-feel plastic.
On the PSP go you have to download games because there isn't a UMD drive, but on the PSP slim there is a UMD drive. If you already have a bunch of UMD's I strongly recommend getting PSP slim. But if you don't have any UMD's your best bet is to get a PSP go. PS ----> I hope this Helped!
No. There are no extra costs or fees on the PSP Go (or any PSP) The only money that is spent after purchasing is spent on Games/Videos/Comics from the PlayStation Network.
