According to their website, Sure Foundation Theological Institute's accreditation is "by its academic presbytery." Here is the statement as it appears on the website:
"Accreditation
The Institute is operated by TSF Ecclesiastical and accredited by its academic presbytery. Established 1973, Incorporated 1977 recognized and accepted by many schools, institutions and occupational venues nationally and around the world."
This is a seminary so it might have different rules of accreditation than some regular schools. It will meet the requirements for its state.
I am not sure what you mean by authorities. In the United States we don't police our educational system. Department of Education and educational institutes maintain quality standards by taking part in a peer review process system called accreditation. An accredited educational institute is considered legitimate and recognized to reward degrees. Universal Degree is an affiliate institute of Corllins University which is an accredited online university.
When choosing an online school, you should first make sure they are accredited. Do they have your program of choice and will they accept any credits that you may have accured from a previous institute? La Dalea Chicago,IL
You can take online classes that fit your needs. Make sure the school is accredited and that your credits will be valid at any school you may want to transfer to. To find online schools check out the online school directory.

You can learn more about the Houston Institute by checking to see if they have a website or by visiting the institute. The Houston institute is a great place to go but you need to make sure that they have the classes that you want.

I am not sure what you mean by 'accredited'. However Liverpool University is a prestigious institution and well respected in the British educational establishment.
Sure! You just need to take classes from an accredited program in your area.
Sure...it is accredited.... and they have notable graduates too.
The school is accredited by the Distance Education Training Council (DETC). However, if you are thinking about obtaining a degree that is recognized by all other colleges and universities, as well as some employers (especially in education), then this is not the preferred accreditation. Still, this is not to say it is not a good school, but just may not be recognized should you wish to continue your education within regionally accredited colleges and universities. If you are looking to acquire a degree that is recognized by all schools and employers then make sure the institution has a regional accreditation. With a regional accreditation, there is no worry.
