The school is accredited by the Distance Education Training Council (DETC). However, if you are thinking about obtaining a degree that is recognized by all other colleges and universities, as well as some employers (especially in education), then this is not the preferred accreditation. Still, this is not to say it is not a good school, but just may not be recognized should you wish to continue your education within regionally accredited colleges and universities. If you are looking to acquire a degree that is recognized by all schools and employers then make sure the institution has a regional accreditation. With a regional accreditation, there is no worry.
