Yes, and no it depends on what your asking. Swine Flu is going on in Colorado. Many people I know have it and I'm just getting over it, and I live in Denver. When I went into the doctors office the two patients on either side of me were also confirmed cases. My friend's daughter has over 200 confirmed cases in her high school, including her daughter So if you're asking if the swine flu will get people in Colorado sick the answer is yes. Now If you're asking if many people will die from swine flu in Colorado the answer is mostly no, not more than in a normal flu season. Of course it's impossible to know for sure, but swine flu only has a slightly higher mortality rate than typical influenza. It caused so much damage in Mexico because they already had comprised immune systems, and a poor health care system. As one of the healthiest states in the country There will be a much smaller Death Rate than else where in the united states. There has only been one confirmed death as a result of swine flu, as of now and I would say that it is a safe bet that Colorado will encounter a great deal fewer deaths than in the rest of the country.
