I personally like the Sennhiser PC350 over the Astro A40. If you can get the Mix Amp from Astro Gaming and get the Sennhiser PC 350. It works amazing if you use them both. Astro gaming A 50 is the best headset on the market right now. It is a big investment, but if you are a gamer, you understand how important it is to have the right amount of bass for emphasis during a game. The more clarity in the sound, the more enjoyable the game itself.
