Beast of Bodmin: The Beast of Bodmin is a phantom wild cat (or possibly a number of them) which ranges in Cornwall in the United Kingdom. Bodmin Moor became a center of these sightings with occasional reports of mutilated slain livestock: the alleged leopard-like cats of the same region came to be popularly and alliteratively known as the Beast of Bodmin Moor.

There have been many alleged sightings and actual footage of a black cat (presumably a panther or wild cat) roaming the area of Bodmin in Cornwall, England as well as other places in the UK. To ask whether it is real or not is hard to answer as it hasn't been completely proven, but in my opinion, yes it is real. The amount of evidence that points towards a wild cat in the UK is substantial and there really is no way you can deny the footage. I hope this helps :)
Charlotte Dymond was killed in Cornwall in 1844. It actually took place in Bodmin Moor to be precise. Sunday 14th April 1844 was the exact date.
