The HP Beats Envy was a marketing ploy to try and sell more of their computers. It did not work and HP have subsequently pulled out of the personal computer business altogether. If you can find a Beats Envy being sold off cheap to clear dead end stock then it will probably be a good buy. Apple's Macs continue to be supported and developed and will always be a good buy.
