There is a famous quote from a Supreme Court Justice (I forget which one) who said "The constitution means what I say it means". There are many different ways of interpreting the constitution, which, after all, does not exactly spell out all the major implications of its own content. All members of the US government are required to agree to uphold the US Constitution, and I have no doubt that they all believe that they are doing so, including members of Homeland Security. It is possible that if you or I were working in Homeland Security, we might take a different approach.

Before being transferred to the Department of Homeland Security in 2003, the Coast Guard was part of the Department of Transportation. Established originally as the Revenue Cutter Service in 1790, it was merged with the Life-Saving Service in 1915 to become the United States Coast Guard. Throughout its history, the Coast Guard has played a vital role in maritime safety, security, and environmental protection.
She felt a deep sense of pride when she returned to her homeland after being away for so long.
There have been claims and conspiracy theories suggesting that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has purchased guillotines, but these are unfounded and lack credible evidence. Such claims often circulate in online forums and social media, typically without substantiation. In reality, DHS focuses on various security measures, and the notion of guillotines being bought is not supported by any official documentation or legitimate reports.
Janet Napolitano was the first woman to serve as the United States secretary of Homeland Security, and she is also known for being a member of the Democratic Party.
I think that most people would consider that being a judge is the best job in the criminal justice system. You get paid very well just to issue an opinion, and the best part is, your opinion is always right! Unless overturned by a higher court. But I am sure that working in homeland security has its advantages as well.
Exiled.
A homeland security violation is any action that is contrary to the laws, regulations, or policies designed to protect the safety, security, and well-being of the citizens of the United States. An "ex post facto" law. In theory, our Constitution forbids this. In practice, there are several notable examples of it having been done and upheld by our courts.
Most people will finish all the process and get citizenship in 3-6 months. For some reason 10-20% of the files are being sent to Homeland Security for investigation and it takes years before they get cleared.
