It is a good gun in general. It has durable internals and externals, you just have to wipe off excess goo inside if you are a picky person. The entire thing is basically like a real SCAR except it shoots plastic bbs and it shoots accurately up to 100fts. You might need to fine tune the hop up and be careful with the stock for it may be easy to break the little notch that holds the stock when it locked. It's a good gun, but you might have a little problem with the trigger mechanism which has poor contact in some of them.. Hope this helped :)

∙ 13y agoI never have trusted D boys nor do i think you should the first two guns i bought from them were awful then broke. I haven't boughten one since. However KWA KJW and JG are very reliable and good guns. They're hard to break and they're performance is amazing. To look at these brands closer look on airsoftmegastore.com So to finish up...No the D boy Scar would not be a good gun in my opinion.

All airsoft guns fire the 6mm plastic projectile. If you are talking about weight, all will work, but steer from .12 gram BB's. Any others, like the .20, .23, .25, ect, will work fine.
