Yes, it was. The Japanese were preparing to fight U.S. forces to the last citizen on the home islands. U.S. losses would have been 500,000 dead and wounded. Japan had already shown that they would not surrender, ever. Japanese divisions were being moved to the southern end of Japan to repel a planned invasion. Dropping the bombs on Japan, while seemingly barbaric, ended the war and in effect saved the Japanese culture as well as millions of Japanese. Some have said that we would not have dropped the bomb on Germany. Not true. When one looks at the bombing of Dresden, as many citizens were killed in that firestorm as would have been killed by an atomic device. Either way you're just as dead. I have visited Hiroshima. The Japanese have been very good at portraying themselves as victims of the atomic bombing. Utter rubbish. Look at the history of the rape of Nanking and other atrocities committed by the Japanese as a guide to the concept of Bushido.

Why was the first atomic bomb used?

The US tested one atomic bomb in the United States (in the desert), before using two against the Japanese in August 1945. The attacks on Hiroshima & Nagasaki were carried out, allegedly, to convince the Japanese Army leaders (who ran Japan) to accept the terms of surrender demanded by the Allies. However it had been discussed that dropping such a weapon over Japan's Inland Sea as a demonstration would have had the same effect and thus the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a cynical act to test the weapons in war conditions.

Subject of opera doctor atomic?

The first act takes place about a month before the bomb is to be tested, and the second act is set in the early morning of July 15, 1945 (the day of the test). During the second act, time frequently slows down for the characters and then snaps back into reality. The opera ends in the final, prolonged moment before the bomb is detonated

Will your licensce be revoked if you are found guilty of an immoral act in which the motor vehicle was used?

No. Immoral is not illegal. While immoral acts can frustrate other people, there aren't actually any rules saying you can't be immoral. However, some acts on the road are ALSO illegal as well as immoral. But if it just immoral, and not illegal, then your licence will not be revoked, you will not be fined or anything (unless it was dangerous).

Because they tried dropping regular bombs with little impact. So they decided to wipe out everything, and they did. Leaving many women and children burned from radiation. No justification for an act so horrendous.
