yes they fit from 1988 new to 1998 all the same
They're built on the same platform, but only a very limited number of pickups which will have the same length of frame, especially when it comes to matching a 1/2 Suburban to a matching 1/2 ton pickup chassis.
Yes they are the same
While the bolt ons are the same the frame itself is different in the side profile. These vintage pickup frames dip down for the cab floor only, then slope up below the seat and bed. The Suburban frame dips down from the front floor all the way back to the rear axle. Wheelbase is different too.
Yes it is the same.
No, these two years are very different body styles. The top structure and cover is very differently shaped. you can the convertible top frame been all the same in those years
a friend had a 96 1500 with 5.7...and it got around 13. same frame and chassis i belive so the suburban just is enclosed
yes it will the only time the frame is different is 1988 and down 1989 and up are all the same
No, the 73 - 91 Suburbans are the boxy ones with 81 - 91 getting a little different nose treatment (sloped hood), but 92 on is completely different.
Yes it is the same engine. Both of them are TBI / Throttle body injection engines.
If they are both from the same model you can, check out model numbers (Or VIN numbers) from both frame and body and if they are the same (Especially the first few digits) Then they'll match.
this frame can not be used for a 1992 jeep wrangler. the length is totally different. The frame size changes in 1997 and again in 2003. I am running into the same problem. I have a 2004 and a 1998 but the 1998 will not work. where are you located and would you be willing to sell the 2004 frame? thanks Joey 919-225-2132
Dispite the different motors the transmissions are infact the same.
