Although this is quite old. I will go ahead and answer this as I just did both the driver and passanger sides of my sons car.
The hub is a PRESS fit. Removal consists of pulling both upper and lower ball joints. Remove CV shaft from center of hub and the spindle should drop free minus all the minor points of removal.
Turning the spindle over on a couple blocks of wood if you are home. using a spacer the same size as the hub shaft beat a few times and it will pop free.
Re-assemble making shure to re-grease the bearings and not to ruin the seal.
Yes it is pressed, have a reputable shop do it for you though!!!
yes they do. I have a 1991 Honda civic and I needed to press them in and I believe they have the same front end.
